In October of current year, China's overall silicon steel production amounted to 0.483 million t, down 19.50% month over month and 5.29% year over year.
Looking at the silicon steel imports and exports in the given period, Chinese overall silicon steel imports totaled 71200 t, down by 1.66% month over month while increasing by 4.25% year over year. At the same time, the oriented silicon steel imports had amounted to 21495 t, down by 24.02% month over month while up 32.42% year over year. Besides, China's non-oriented silicon steel imports stood at 49718 t, up 12.65% month over month while dropping by 4.63% year on year.
In addition, Chinaese overall silicon steel exports reached 22400 t in October, decreasing by 17.95% month over month while up 31.84% year over year. Meanwhile, the oriented silicon steel exports came to 1306 t, dropping by 8.94% month over month while rising by 183.01% year over year. In addition, the non-oriented silicon steel exports had amounted to 21001 t, down 18.66% month over month while up 27.15% year over year.
